LEVEL 1
NCFE Foundation Certificate In Travel Studies
(1 year)
This course will provide you with grounding in
the basic principles of the travel industry. It
will help you gain familiarity with various
avenues of work within the
travel industry. Ideal if you are looking for
sale and customer service employment within a
retail travel agent, tour operator or an
airline. |

LEVEL 1
BTEC Introductory Certificate/Diploma in

Introducing Customer Care (Cert &Dip)

This course offers specialist work-related
qualifications in a range of Travel and Tourism
sectors. It covers topics such as:
Introduction to the Travel and Tourism Industry,
Tourist Destinations, and Customer Service in
Travel and Tourism. |
Entry Requirements:
5 GCSEs grade D (including 1 C
in appropriate subject). |
Next Step:
BTEC National Award / Certificate
in Travel & Tourism or BTEC
Diploma in Resort Representative
and Preparation for Air Cabin
Crew or employment. |
LEVEL 2
BTEC Level 2 Diploma In Travel Operations (1
year)
The Travel Operations course covers two
structures to include Leisure Travel and the Air
Industry. Ideal if you are looking to work for a
tour operator, retail travel agent or as ground
staff at an airport. |

In Travel & Tourism (2 years)
The BTEC National courses offer specialist
qualifications that focus on particular aspects
of employment within the Travel industry. The
courses allow the opportunity to broaden your
study in Tourist Destinations, Customer Service,
and Working Overseas as a Resort
Representative amongst others. |

Award or Certificate -4 GCSEs
grade C (including English) or
Diploma -5 GCSEs, 2 grade B
and 3 grade C. |

FACILITIES
Our Travel and Tourism courses offer structured
learning with plenty of practical work, periods
of work experience and trips in the UK and
abroad.
As a Travel and Tourism student you may well
find yourself working in the newly refurbished
Brooklands Travel Shop, a working agency that
will give you valuable hands-on experience.
Experience
how an airline crew operate in our mock aircraft
interior, which has been arranged in the style
of an aircraft. There are authentic aeroplane
chairs positioned in rows, and food and drink
trolleys as you would expect to find on most
aircrafts enabling students to train in
realistic conditions as an air cabin crew
member.
There are also various types of airline
equipment available for you to practice with
that the cabin crew would use including; oxygen
masks, life jackets, safety buckles, health and
safety forms and evacuation cards.
